Role Overview

The Director of Artist & Talent Relations (“The Director”) at Parable Talent is a strategic leader responsible for orchestrating the perfect alignment between top-tier talent and major donor events. This is a high-impact position within the world of speaker and artist management, focused on delivering exceptional experiences for both clients and talent.

The Director leverages expertise in relationship management, negotiation, sales strategy, and operational execution to secure the right talent for each engagement. Success in this role means clients receive standout performances, talent feels valued and well-supported, and events are executed efficiently and cost-effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Strategy & Relationship Management
  • Collaborate with the Client Service Team to understand client goals and event objectives, ensuring the right talent is secured for each engagement.
  • Leverage industry relationships and connections to identify, engage, and present top-tier talent aligned with client needs, budgets, and desired outcomes.
  • Build and sustain strategic relationships with talent, managers, and agencies, continually cultivating new talent options.
  • Educate talent on the Westfall Gold model and understand their priorities to create compelling, tailored offers.
Talent Selection & Contracting
  • Build proposals showcasing viable talent options tailored to each client’s priorities.
  • Support clients in contracting the right talent within required timelines.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between talent and client teams to ensure smooth communication, alignment, and seamless event execution.
  • Present offers, negotiate fees, and manage special client requests to optimize outcomes for both talent and clients.
Performance & Cost Management
  • Monitor and evaluate talent performance through onsite staff feedback, focusing on quality, collaboration, and alignment with event goals while adhering to contracts and budgets.
  • Identify cost-effective solutions that maintain or enhance the quality and value of the talent pool.
Operational Efficiency & Reporting
  • Contribute to the strategic vision for the talent acquisition function.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Operations Manager to streamline the contracting process, minimizing turnaround time and reducing costs.
  • Maintain project management updates and create reports on talent acquisition performance, financial status, and strategic opportunities for company leadership.
Revenue Growth & Strategic Development
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the talent service portfolio and drive revenue growth from talent acquisition across clients and nonprofit/for-profit partnerships.
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust pricing models to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

SCHEDULE & TRAVEL

Full time. Available to provide occasional after-hours support. Some travel required.
